NDC will sweep half of Ashanti votes – Andy Osei Okran

The Ashanti Regional deputy Minister, Hon Andy Osei Okran has assured the president John Dramani Mahama that his government will take half of total votes cast in Ashanti region come November 7 polls.

The Minister, who was speaking at the conference of the United Cadres Front of NDC in Kumasi believed that the Ashanti region under the Mahama-led administration has had its share of the national cake in the area of education, health, transportation and recreation, adding that the government is committed to executing several other projects aimed at transforming the lives of residents in the region.

He added that Ghanaians can only appreciate president Mahama by giving him a second term.

He urged the United Cadres Front of NDC and the party supporters to implement all the necessary strategies to secure a resounding victory for the party in the 2016 presidential and parliamentary polls.

In responses to the president’s tour of the region, the minister said the Regional Coordinating Council is putting the necessary measures in place to ensure a successful working tour in the region by president Mahama tomorrow.
