Nana’s factory promise inspired by Komenda – Boateng Gyan

Former National Organizer of the governing National Democratic Congress(NDC), Yaw Boateng Gyan, has asserted that flag-bearer of the opposition New patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo Addo’ s new campaign pledge to provide one factory in every district is inspired by the revamped Komenda Sugar Factory.

Mr. Boateng Gyan made the comment on Atinka AM Drive, Monday during an interview with Kaakyire Ofori Ayim. He said the idea to create a factory in every district is an illusion which was inspired by the revamped Komenda Sugar Factory recently inaugurated by President John Mahama.

He continued that Akufo Addo is experienced enough to know the idea is not feasible and should learn to campaign on issues that address the needs of the people of Ghana. He added that if Akufo Addo’s proposed policy were feasible , the NPP would have implemented it during President Kufuor’s regime.

He entreated Ghanaians to ask Akufo -Addo where he intends siting those proposed factories and the raw materials to feed them .
