Police in Eastern region have arrested a security man in connection with the foiled robbery attack on the Manya Krobo Rural Bank.
The suspect who works for the bank was on duty when the incident happened.
Armed robbers on Saturday engaged the police in a shootout at the bank’s premises resulting in the death of one of their robbers.
Three others who sustained gun shot wounds are, however, on the run with an amount of Ghc 14,974 from the bank.
The police have also retrieved two loaded pump action guns from the robbers.
Public Relations Officer for the Eastern regional Police Command ASP Nketiah Yeboah in an interview with Starr News said his outfit is on a manhunt for suspects.
