Axim (W/R), Oct. 14, GNA – The Volta River Authority (VRA) has taken over the management of the Effasu Barge Power Project, initiated by the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC). Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom, Minister of Energy, announced this during a press briefing at Axim after visiting the project site as part of his three-day tour of the Western Region. Mr Freddie Blay, Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament and MP for Ellembele, accompanied the Energy Minister.
