Tweneboah Koduah SHS student remanded for stabbing colleague

Police officers at Kumawu in the Ashanti Region have remanded into custody a 20-year old final year Visual Arts student of the Tweneboah Koduah Senior High School for stabbing his colleague.

The incident happened on Thursday 21st April, 2016, during a confrontation that ensued between the suspect and his colleague final year General Science student, who is currently battling with severe knife wounds at the Agogo Presbyterian Hospital.

Police say they have begun investigations into the matter. DSP Boakye Ansah, the Kumawu District Police Commander, told Class FM’s correspondent in the region that: “One of the students was jubilating over the WASSCE exams they wrote which led to some misunderstanding, subsequently degenerating into a stabbing incident. The victim was first sent to Agogo Polyclinic but was later transferred to the Agogo Presbyterian Hospital for treatment.”
