Dr. Rashid Pelpuo, Member of Parliament (MP) for Wa Central Constituency arrived in Wa on Wednesday to a rousing welcome by the youth and constituency party executives of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The youth poured out in their numbers to meet the Minister of State in charge of Public Private Partnership (PPP) on the way at Bamahu to welcome him and usher him into Wa town.
The arrival of the Wa Central Legislator gingered up the jubilant crowed of youth who ushered him into town through the principal streets of Wa amidst singing and dancing accompanied by an acrobatic display of motor riding skills.
The event that could be compared to a Presidential welcome, left observers thinking about the level of youth support for Alhaji Dr. Pelpuo especially at a time the NDC expanded its electoral college.
After being ushered through the Constituency and Regional Offices of the Party and some principal streets of Wa and finally to his residence in Dobile Low Cost, the MP was short of words to thank the enthusiastic youth who filled up the
