Peace FM correspondent shot dead

The Brong Ahafo Region correspondent of Peace FM has been shot dead, TV3 has gathered.

He was shot at close range by unidentified men on his way from Sankore, where he is said to have followed up on grievances reported by some cocoa farmers over stolen fertilizers.

The reporter, whose name has been given as King George, is said to be returning to Goaso at 3:00pm when he met his untimely death.

A colleague of the deceased who spoke on anonymity said the sad incident happened at Kwapong.

King George also worked for Success FM in the Brong Ahafo Region.
