Rotary Club of Kumasi gets new President

Kumasi, July 16, GNA- Mr Kofi Addo, former President of the Rotary Club of Kumasi, has appealed to members of the club to strengthen their support for the poor and the deprived in the society.

He said a lot of people were living in abject poverty and deprivation and it was incumbent on members who believed in the ideals and objectives of the club to assist the needy. Mr Addo said this when he handed over the Presidency of the Club to Mr Kwame Owusu for the year 2003/2004.

Mr Owusu appealed to members to work hard to ensure that the Club grows from strength to strength.

He said with the support of members, he would embark on membership drive and work to improve the image of the Rotary Club.
