AKua Donkor is an ex-convict- Owusu Bempah

The National Communications Director of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Ernest Owusu Bempah and the Deputy Communications Director of the Peoples Progressive Party (PPP), Charles Owusu, have claimed that the leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor, is an ex-convict.

The two communication directors say Akua Donkor spent 9-years at the Kumasi prisons, but got a presidential pardon.

Speaking on Atinka AM Drive hosted by Kwame Adinkrah on Wednesday, the two gentlemen, therefore, advised President John Mahama not to associate himself with Madam Akua Donkor because she is not credible.

They explained that the President’s continued association with Madam Akua Donkor raised questions about the President himself.

Reacting to the issue, Madam Akua Donkor rained insults on her accusers saying, “I have never gone to prison before”.

She said, “the Electoral Commission (EC) investigates you before you are allowed to contest as a presidential candidate”.

The politician described her accusers as thieves, dogs, and animals adding that, they just want to tarnish her image.
