Nana Afena Nkatiah II celebrates Apoo festival

The Twofohnene of the Techiman Traditional Council, Nana Afena Nkatiah II has celebrated this this year’s annual appoo festival with the call on the people commercial city in the Brong Ahafo region to help protect Tano River from drying out.

Nana Afene Nkatiah who is also the CEO of F Zeini Company Ltd use the occasion to warn those recalcitrant citizens who are building indiscriminately at the banks of Taton River.

According to the Twafohene, Nana Afena Nkatiah II, the Traditional Council has instituted some punitive measures to deal rigorously with those perpetrators.

Nana Afena Nkatiah II, appealed to the people to do well to maintain in peace, unity, kindness and uniformity among themselves to consolidate massive development in the area.

Touching on education, the Twafohene, Nana Afena Nkatiah II, noted that, education is base to the society, prelude to the development and component for progress and prosperity, therefor there is the need for every parent to give maximum attention to their wards’ education adding that it is only the biggest legacy one can bequeath to his subjects.
