POTAG chairman arrested

The Chairman of the Takoradi Polytechnic branch of the Polytechnic Teachers Association (POTAG), Michael Asare Appiah and his secretary Kwasi Asiedu Kokuro have been picked up by the Police, Starr News has gathered.

The two lecturers were picked up Monday morning on campus over suspicions that they are instigating a demonstration for the dismissal of the school’s Rector, Rev Prof. Daniel Nyarko.

The development, according to Starr News sources, is creating tension on campus.

Mr. Nyarko is, currently, undertaking his four-year accumulated leave.
