Flagstaff House Drama: Mahama’s silence dangerous – Mpiani

Former Chief of Staff under the erstwhile Kufuor administration Kwadwo Mpiani has advised President John Mahama to, as a matter of urgency, “come out” and clear reports of the resignation of some key personalities in his government.

Reports are rife that the Chief of Staff Prosper Bani has been relieved of his post .

The Presidency has remained tight lipped on the matter.

But speaking to Citi FM Wednesday, Mpiani said the development is unhealthy for the government.

“Somebody must come out to say whether these reports are true or not, otherwise for the average Ghanaian, it gives a feeling of something not going well for the government and that is not good for the country.

“If this is not true and these things are coming up persistently, for the interest of government and the nation somebody should come out and react.

“For good governance, I will suggest that somebody from the office of the President must come out and let the country know what is happening at the center of government,” he noted.
