Akwamuman SHS students arrested for practicing occultism

School authorities in the Eastern region have raised an alarm over the wave of occultism in several Senior High Schools.

This comes after some students of Akwamuman Senior High School were arrested for engaging in occultism.

Chairman of the Parent Teacher Association for the school, Paul Offei Addo in an interview with Starr News said the students will be severely punished.

“There should be severe punishments for them. The students that we caught, we wanted to punish them [so] we sent them to the Police, and they were detained but their parents went to the chiefs to come and plead for them.

“We want to do away with these things in society so if the Chiefs and parents would come and plead for them then we have a long way to go,” Mr. Ofei stated
