Fmr DCE supports Zebilla Senior High Technical School

Alhaji Anaba Moro Adam, former District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Bawku West District of the Upper East Region has presented items worth 3000 Ghana Cedis to the Zebilla Senior High Technical School.

The school is currently facing some hardships as a result of a fire outbreak that destroyed the main boys’ dormitory causing damage to furniture, books and personal clothes of about 400 students.

The items presented included 150 meters of kaki materials, 150 violet materials for their school uniforms and 60 plastic plates for their meals.

Presenting the items, Alhaji Moro Adam, said they were meant to help the students overcome the difficulties they had just gone through and stop parents from buying uniforms for their wards.

He noted that the concerns of the school were of high priority and that he would help whenever he could.

Alhaji Moro Adam hinted that he was lobbing with philanthropist, individuals and non-governmental organization to gather some resources for the development of the school.

Receiving the items, Mrs Katherine Ubun Abanga, Headmistress of the school, commended the former DCE for his effort and assured him that the items would be put to good use.

She called on others to emulate the former DCE since the school was an institution of change that is aimed at producing responsible people who would take up the future mantle of the country.
