Prophet urges Christians to give thanks to God

Prophet James Osei Amaniampong, Area Head of the Church of Pentecost at Teshie Nungua has urged Christians to always give thanks to God for his continued blessings and love, whether in good or bad times.

Prophet Amaniampong appealed to Christians to ensure stronger commitment to live in peace, forgive and reconcile with those who had wronged them, because God’s word teaches mankind to pray, intercede and give thanks to all people.

He said this at a thanksgiving service at the Church of Pentecost, Dr Wyatt Temple, in Accra on Sunday, for the leadership of Tobinco Pharmaceuticals Limited.

Prophet Amaniampong said Psalm 34:8 encouraged Christians to ‘taste and see that the Lord is good, blessed is the man who takes refuge in him,’ and that, it behooves on all to have an encounter with God for success.

He said the story of David and Goliath is an attestation for Christians to be strong in the lord and believed that all things are possible because God has assured all and sundry of his mercies in times of trouble.

“As Christians, we will be confronted with many difficulties and tribulations and it is our duty to pray fervently and have faith in God to stand the test of any temptations”, he added.

The management of Tobinco Pharmaceuticals Limited used the occasion to pray and thank God supporting them in their time of difficulties.

Clad in white, the leadership of the company thanked God for his mercies and intervening in the impasse between their outfits and the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) amid singing, dancing and praying in tongues.

The company thanked the Presidency of the state, the Ministry of Health, the parliamentary select committee on health, the FDA, the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana, the leadership of the Church, religious bodies and all who prayed and supported them in their challenging times.
