Ghana needs fixing; people merely existing… – IMANI Boss

No politician will admit that Ghana is no longer attractive.

However, some also used to chuckle at that very distinctly Ghana’s political rhetoric of exceptionalism, the assertions of our God-granted preeminence and predestination.

But beneath that laughter, the Executive Director of IMANI Ghana, Franklin Cudjoe believes Ghana is in a deep mess and needs a lot of work to fix it.

He explained that, the recent cedi appreciation against some major trading foreign currencies, which some including politicians have attributed it to the workings of God, is really an embarrassment.

According to him, over 1,000 Facebook posts praising God for the Cedi appreciation really shows that “this country needs a lot of work to fix.”

Franklin Cudjoe however used his Facebook wall to educate Ghanaians on the cedi’s appreciation and claimed Ghana’s first president; Kwame Nkrumah was his own nemesis.

Below is what Franklin Cudjoe posted on Facebook. [Unedited]
