Monday declared public holiday

The general public is hereby reminded that Monday 22nd September 2014, which Marks Founders Day is a Statutory Public Holiday.

This was disclosed in a press release signed by the Minister of the Interior, Hon. Mark Woyongo.

The statement said “in view of the fact that 21st September 2014, falls on a Sunday, His Excellency the President has by Executive Instrument declared Monday, 22nd September 2014 as a Statutory Public Holiday, and should be observed as such throughout the country.”
