Obuasi: Boy, 3, dies after falling from 3rd floor of NHIS building

News reaching StarrFMonline.com indicates that a three-year-old boy has died after falling from the 3rd floor of the Health Insurance office at Obuasi in the Ashanti region.

The boy, who has been identified as Ibrahim Jammeh, had visited the office with his parents to register for the health insurance programme, but fell off while loitering during the process.

According local reporter Isaac Bediako justice, the boy died instantly from the fall.

Eye witnesses are, however, accusing the managers of the office of negligence, as numerous complaints about the precarious nature of the structure has fallen on death ears.

The matter is currently being investigated by the Obuasi police

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Obuasi morgue.
