The Progressive People’s Party wishes all Ghanaians a happy 57th Independence Anniversary.
We wish to entreat our country men, women and children to reflect on the delayed progress of our country and consider the well-being of future generation and eschew corruption in all its forms, embrace patriotism, sacrifice, selflessness and pursue the public good.
On our part, we in the PPP will remain committed to pursue our advocacy for the fundamental changes in our governance system because we believe they hold the key to making Ghana Great and Strong.
We will pursue the cause of changing the Constitution to separate the Attorney-General from the Minister of Justice, separate Parliament from the Executive and ensure the direct and popular election of all members of the District Assemblies including the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives.
