Mahama is allergic to good governance – PNC Guru

Policy Analyst of the People’s National Convention, Atik Mohammed says President John Dramani Mahama should allow his critics to rant and rave in order to pursue their presidential ambitions.

He was responding to the President’s admonition to his critics to stop venting their “frustration” on radio regarding the state of the economy.

Addressing a congregation during the 120th celebration of the Catholic Archdiocese, President Mahama told his critics to assist him to salvage the economy and ensure a better Ghana for the citizenry.

According to him, President Mahama rode on the back of the media as a foot soldier on radio to become the Head of State and believes the president is allergic to good governance.

To him, with the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), democracy is not a choice.

He appealed to President Mahama not to gag his critics but allow them to speak on national issues that will help build the nation.

“In fact, this man as soon as he hears good governance, he begins to palpitate. He’s not enthused. He has allergies to such constructs…He has come to set up the most thriving company in the history of mankind. That is the CLS (Create, Loot and Share) Company.

“There’s a gang of looters, and what we are doing is putting impediments in their way, on the looting journey; on their looting expedition…It’s a tradition. As for NDC members, they accepted democracy by coercing. It was not by choice,” he opined on Oman FM and requested for freedom to “rant and rave so that we can also become Presidents.”
