The Management of Driver Vehicle and Licensing Authority (DVLA) has denied Media allegations that its boss was involved in alleged sexual harassment.
It said the case as was reported to Management was an alleged sexual harassment against the Accra Regional Licensing Manager and not the DVLA boss.
An official statement issued by the DVLA Management and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Accra on Wednesday further denied that officials from the Bureau of National Investigations have picked up the said Regional Licensing Manager.
According to the statement, DVLA Management first received a complaint from the victim a few weeks ago, and invited the two parties involved, but the Regional Licensing Manager denied the allegation.
“Management has since constituted a committee of inquiry to go into the matter, determine the truth or otherwise and report for the necessary action.
“The DVLA Management wishes to assure the public that it understands very well the implications of alleged sexual harassment and will, therefore do all it can to unravel the truth of the matter,” the statement added.
