Ghana has become a lawless state – K.B. Asante

Statesman K. B. Asante has tagged Ghana as a lawless state.

According to him, Ghanaians have no regard for the laws that are supposed to regulate their activities.

He made these comments on his show, Time with K. B. Asante on the XYZ Breakfast show on Monday.

He decried the increasing level of noise pollution in the national capital.

K.B. Asante stated that it is high time laws on noise making were enforced.

“Now it is high time we had the rules enforced, if we don’t we would have a land guard situation, people would be compelled to have rascals who would go to the place of noise and throw the gadgets away and cause mayhem.

“It is a possibility because sometimes the noise is excruciating and there is no way of doing anything” Mr. K.B Asante said.

Meanwhile, the Director of Metro Health Department of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly, Dr. Anim Boateng, has attributed the slow pace of prosecuting perpetrators of noise pollution to the slow justice system.
