Mahama satisfied with security agencies ahead of SC verdict

President Mahama has expressed satisfaction with the preparation of the various security agencies ahead of the final delivery of the Supreme Court verdict on the election petition case.

The president had earlier instructed the security agencies to be on red alert in order to forestall any violence that may occur after the verdict is delivered.

Addressing the media at the Flagstaff House on Tuesday, a Deputy Minister of Information and Media Relations, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, said the president is well convinced the security agencies are well prepared for the task.

“His Excellency the President who is also the Commander in Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces has had the opportunity to review the various security arrangements that have been put in place by the security agencies.

“The president is satisfied with the arrangements so far and the high morale and the state of the preparedness of our men and women in uniform with regards to maintaining the peace during this period,” he added.
