2 shot dead at Alavanyo

Two people including a baby have been shot dead in the latest violence at Alavanyo in the Volta Region.

Officials say the attack is linked to the long standing land dispute between the people of Nkonya and Alavanyo.

Four persons are reported to have been shot in connection with the latest violence.

Volta Regional Minister, Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo, confirmed the incident to Joy News a while ago.
