CPP Meeting on saturday

The Convention People’s Party would hold its biennial meeting of the National Executive Council (NEC) on Saturday August 24 at the University of Ghana, Legon, a statement issued in Accra on Wednesday said.

The statement signed by Dr. Nii Noi Dowuona, General Secretary of the partysaid the meeting would bring together party executives from the ten regions, members of the Central Committee and the Council of Elders and other officers of the Party to discuss issues vital for the rejuvenation of the Party.

Delegates from the UK-Northern Ireland and North America branches of the party would also attend.

The General Secretary will report on the state of the party and it is expected that NEC would ratify the unity pact to pave way for the adoption of a comprehensive organisational programme whose implementation would lead to a National Party Congress in 2003 to elect National officers and a Flag bearer for the 2004 elections.
