I have never seen Tsatsu win a case in court – Karbo

Former National Youth Organiser of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Anthony Abaayifa Karbo, has said Tsatsu Tsikata, counsel for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has never won a case in his life since he was called to the bar.

“If Tony Lithur, counsel for President Mahama couldn’t break Bawumia, Quarshie-Idun was just a walk over, and then we don’t even want to talk about Tsatsu. People like Tsatsu say they are lawyers in this country, but I have never seen him won any case in court. Someone should pinpoint just a significant case Tsatsu has won in court.

“…I can tell you 75 cases Nana Akufo-Addo has won, tell me one high legal case Tsatsu Tsikata has won. I have heard one NDC lawyer say that he can’t wait to see Tsatsu in court and after he can die, then he should prepare to die. He will have to die after this cross-examination,” he said.

Anthony Karbo was reacting to comments made by Abraham Amaliba, a member of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) that he can’t wait for Tsatsu Tsikata’s cross-examination.

Lawyer Amaliba is also purported to have said he will be glad if he dies after listening to Tsatsu’s cross-examination of Dr. Bawumia.

“The kind of witness that we have in the box is not an idiot, we (NPP) don’t have an idiot in the box, we don’t have a stupid person in the box, and we have a very intelligent young man who is behind this issue and Ghanaians will be surprised,” he said this on Asempa FM.

Anthony Karbo aka “Afghanistan” said the rank and file of the NPP admires the star witness; Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia because he has proven beyond a reasonable doubt that he is up to the task.
