Asaase Bonso fire victims appeal for tents

Nana Oduro Dwamena, the assembly member for Assase Bonso in the Sekyere Central District, has appealed for tents as accommodation is the major priority need of the bush-fire victims.

The assembly member made this appeal at the weekend when the management of Nhyira FM in Kumasi presented a number of items including second-hand clothing, cement, foot-wear, bed-sheets, cooking utensils and other items to Asaase-Bonso fire victims.

He said at the moment all the 450 victims are using the local school block as temporary accommodation after classes.

Mr Benjamin Fifi Ocran, Programme Manager of Nhyira FM on behalf of the Management presented the items donated by the public to the fire victims.

Mr Ebenezer Akuoko Frimpong, District Chief Executive (DCE), received the items on behalf of the victims.

He thanked the management of Nhyira FM, Angel FM stations and the general public for their support since the incident.
