Seven biometric verficiation machines stolen in Amenfi East

Information reaching XYZ NEWS indicates that about seven biometric verification devices in Amenfi East Constituency have been stolen.

The devices were used in the December 2012 elections.

The alleged theft occurred at the Wassa Akropong office of the Electoral Commission in the Western region.

When XYZ NEWS contacted the Wassa police, they confirmed the alleged theft case and noted they have commenced investigations.
