Former President Jerry John Rawlings says he is ready and willing to offer any help to President John Dramani Mahama if he asks for it.
Speaking to XYZ News at the inauguration of President John Dramani Mahama, the former President stated that he will always be available to help contribute his quota to ensure that President Mahama succeeds.
“My support is there for the asking if he ask for it I will give him” President Rawlings said.
Former President Rawlings also described the ceremony as impressive adding that President John Dramani Mahama has clearly shown that he is ready to unite Ghanaians.
“It was quite impressive, all those who contributed to the arrangement and the decor did very well.
“It looks like he wants to do everything possible to unite the country and to bring people on board, which is good and I hope he will do that”.
