NDC official appeals to President to remain focused

Mr Ali Salifu, Bawku Central Constituency First Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), on Wednesday appealed to President John Dramani Mahama to remain focused on the chapter two of the “Better Ghana Agenda”.

He said the next phase of the ‘Better Ghana Agenda’ must strengthen good governance leading to massive socio-economic development.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Tema, Mr Salifu said there was the need for President Mahama to pursue rigorous socio-economic policies so as to create more jobs.

He appealed to the President to create a permanent military barracks in Bawku to ensure lasting peace in the area.

Mr Salifu also congratulated Ghanaians for a peaceful general election and that the first round resounding victory by the President was a clear indication of Ghanaians’ approval of the Better Ghana Agenda of the late President John Evans Attah Mills’s administration.
