More students join suit against Methodist University

Hundreds of students of the Methodist University College have joined a suit filed by 98 of their colleagues challenging their withdrawal from the school.

More than 1,400 of the students were withdrawn on the orders of the National Accreditation Board.

They allegedly didn’t meet the admission requirement of the school. Seventy-nine of them pioneered the suit against the school.

The number later swelled to 98.

The court recently put their withdrawal on hold pending the determination of the substantive case.

One of the Lawyers for the students in an interview with XYZ News said the students would go back to school in the interim.

Garry Nimako-Marfo said other affected students wishing to join the suit are welcome to do so.
