The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), President John Dramani Mahama, is expected to introduce his running-mate for the December elections today, (Tuesday, September 18).
The event, which is expected to take place at the National Theatre in Accra is expected to kick start the party’s campaign despite the official launch of the campaign two weeks ago.
A statement released by the John Mahama 2012 Campaign and signed by its Communication Director, Hanna Tetteh said “His Excellency John Dramani Mahama will formally introduce his Running Mate and Vice Presidential Candidate to the People of Ghana.”
Ahead of the programme, the National Executive Committee of the NDC will meet to deliberate on the president’s nominee. XYZ News’ sources say the president’s sole nominee is current Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur.
