Stolen girl returned to Ghana through Saboba Assembly

A 14-year-old girl, Aba Anema Bentum Biney, who was stolen from Dawu in the Eastern Region by a man whose name has been withheld for security reasons, to Togo has been found.

Aba was returned to Ghana through Saboba in the Northern Region.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in Yendi, the Presiding Member of the Saboba District Assembly, Mr Joseph Yinpuri said the Togo security authorities in Kuka handed over the girl to the Assembly to locate her parents.

Meanwhile the man who stole the girl is in the custody of the Togo security.

Mr Yinpuri has appealed to the parents of Aba to contact the Saboba District Assembly to collect their child.**
