Bisease District making progress with biometric voters’ registration exercise

The biometric voters’ registration exercise which took off a few days ago at a slow pace is gradually gathering momentum at Bisease in the Central Region.

A Ghana News Agency rounds conducted revealed that faulty machines such as printers, screens, laptops and poor batteries cause the delay during the start of the process.

In an interview with the District Electoral Officer, Mr Prosper B. Caiquo confirmed that so far everything is on course and that about 65 percent of the estimated population have been captured.

He expressed dissatisfaction that the open confrontations and pressure from the top executives of the National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party at some of the centres had stop.**
