OMA inaugurates GHc213,000 school project

Obuasi, Jan 18, GNA – A twelve-unit classroom storey block with office and store, staff common room, a library and sanitary facilities for the St. Thomas Primary School has been inaugurated at Obuasi. The project which would end the shift system in the school was jointly financed by the GET-Fund and the Obuasi Municipal Assembly at the cost of GHc 213,000.00. Mr. John Alexander Ackon, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) who inaugurated the project re-stated the assembly’s commitment to improve the infrastructural base of schools in the municipality. “This year the project at the Obuasi Methodist School will be started while Saquafia will benefit from a 6-unit classroom block”.
