Immigration Service urges foreigners to regularize their stay

Sekondi, Dec. 14, GNA -The Western Regional Enforcement Unit of the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has started a programme under which foreign nationals who work in the region will regularize their stay.

Deputy Superintendent of Immigration, Mr. Francis Tachie, said this at a meeting of the Regional Population Advisory Committee at Sekondi on Tuesday.

He said 34 expatriates had been arrested this year for failing to regularize their stay and their companies fined for illeg
