Ghana stutter against South Africa

Ghana would be seeking to get a win in their final group match at the All Africa Games on Saturday after losing their opener against South Africa on Wednesday.

The Black Meteors have made a slow start following a 1-0 defeat to South Africa, who have pulled two wins and completed their games in the three-team group.

A second half goal from a corner kick denied Ghana a possible share of the spoils.

Shakes Mashaba’s side had already won their opening game, 3-1 over hosts, Mozambique and now advance from the group leaving Ghana and Mozambique to battle for the other semi-final place.
