K-Poly gets new Rector

Kumasi, Sept.3, GNA – The Governing Council of the Kumasi Polytechnic (K-Poly) has appointed Professor Nicholas N.N Nsowah-Nuamah as the new Rector of the Polytechnic.

The appointment takes effect from November 1, this year. Professor Nsowah-Nuamah’s appointment followed the unanimous endorsement of the recommendation of a search committee instituted by the Council.

A statement signed by Mr. Robert Korankye-Mensah, Registrar of the Polytechnic and Secretary to the Council and made available to the Ghana News Agency in Kumasi on Friday, said Professor Nsowah-Nuamah is a full Professor of the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER) of the University of Ghana. It said Professor Nsowah-Nuamah was one time a Deputy Government Statistician.
