Church donates to Nsawam Hospital

Nsawam Aug. 11, GNA – The resident pastor of the Nsawam branch of the Christ Resurrection Church (CRC), Rev Joseph Emmanuel Mensah, on Wednesday, presented food items and a quantity of bed sheets, valued at about GHc500, on behalf of the church, to the Nsawam hospital.

Pastor Mensah, said the donation formed part of the church’s weeklong activities to mark the 24th Anniversary celebration, which started from 2nd August and had the theme 93Celebrating the faithfulness of God”

Mr Mensah said the members of the church as well as the leadership were engaged in a lot of activities, such as talk shows, quiz competitions, musical night and fun games to commemorate the Anniversary.

Pastor Mensah said the donation also forms part of the social responsibilities of the Children’s Department of the ministry.

He said it was the hope of the church that the donation would go a long way in supporting the hospital in its health delivery services.

Mrs Mary Mensah, the wife of Rev Mensah, who was present at the ceremony, said the items are the church’s donation to the hospital’s to help support its operations.

Miss Ernestina Anim, Senior nursing officer of the Nsawam Government Hospital, who received the items, thanked the church for the donation and appealed to other churches and organisations to emulate the king gesture of the (CRC).
