Accra, June 11, GNA – The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) announced on Thursday that all outstanding loans for the 2008/09 academic year have been disbursed.
It said in a statement issued on Thursday that beginning from June 12 students were expected to receive their loans through their respective banks.
It said the paying bank of the SLTF had been instructed to effect these payments to the respective recipient banks. “All banks are advised to credit the accounts of students as a matter of urgency,” SLTF said, and expressed regrets for the delay in the disbursements.
