Party hails 60-yr old retired teacher nomination as DCE

Nyinahin (Ash), April 7, GNA – The Atwima-Mponua National Democratic Congress (NDC) executives and party supporters have hailed the nomination of a 60 year old retired teacher in the area as a District Chief Executive.

Mrs Theresa Adomako, the nominee, who has been described as humble, faithful and obedient by the District party officials, expressed her gratitude to President Mills for her nomination. She pledged to make education, health and agriculture her priority areas when approved as a substantive DCE. She said she would justify the confidence reposed in her by the President.

Mr Akwasi Twumasi, the party’s Constituency Chairman described Mrs Adomako as someone who could deliver what would be expected of her and called on the District Assembly members to approve her nomination to help her develop the District. Mr Dickson Timunde, Constituency Secretary also urged the executives to cooperate with her to deliver her desired goals when approved.
