Comply with GES Directive on Retirement

Kumasi, Feb. 6, GNA – The Ghana Education Service (GES), has reiterated its directive to Directors of Education to strictly comply with its decision on retirement. In a circular to all Divisional, Regional and District Directors of Education, and signed by Mr. Samuel Bannerman-Mensah, the Director-General, stated that Directors of Education who retired compulsorily must proceed on the retirement on the due date. It directed that auditing and proper handing over must be initiated and completed within a reasonable time ahead of the retiring date. This, the circular explained, would ensure that retiring officers left the Service on the scheduled date of retirement.
