ISD creates webpage for Election 2008

Accra, Nov. 20, GNA – The Information Services Department (ISD) has created a webpage on Election 2008 on the on the government of Ghana website (Ghana portal) www.ghana.gov.gh.

A statement issued in Accra by ISD on Wednesday said the election page had information on all presidential candidates, manifestoes of political parties and campaigns, among others.

It said ISD, in collaboration with the Electoral Commission, would be posting on line, certified results on the election. It said the page would also be linked to some major election-related websites to enable the general public to visit those sites through the National Portal.
