Nyinahin (Ash), April 16, GNA – The Atwima Mponua District Assembly and the District’s Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), have presented relief items worth GH¢600 to victims of a rainstorm and flood that hit parts of that district recently. The District assembly donated items worth GH¢500 made up of 200 bags of cement, 18 packets of roofing sheets and assorted used clothing while NADMO donated the bags of rice valued at GH¢100. The communities included Tanodumase, Kansakrom and Kuffuor Camp.

Mr. Wilberforce Owusu-Ansah, District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area said the building materials should be used to rehabilitate the school buildings and domestic houses that had their roofs ripped-off during the rainstorm.
