Denkyira Jukwa (C/R), April 9, GNA- Ms Regina Ammam, Headmistress of Jukwa Senior High School, has appealed to government, non-governmental organisations and philanthropists to help the school improve its infrastructure to enhance teaching and learning. She told Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Denkyira Jukwa that the school with student population of 815 and 32 teachers lacked a playing field, a well stocked library, school bus, good kitchen and a dinning hall. Ms Ammam also asked government to ensure the completion of a science laboratory project at the school, started nine years ago. She commended World Vision International for building a girl’s hostel, providing sports kits and books for the school and for assisting brilliant but needy students to complete their education. Ms Ammam praised the Parent-Teacher Association for construction an assembly hall and toilet facilities for the school. She commended Twifo-Heman-Lower Denkyira District Assembly, Ms Elizabeth Amoah Tetteh Member of Parliament (MP) for Atti-Morkwa constituency, and Mr Abraham Baidoo, former MP for the constituency for their contributions to the development of the school.
