22nd Conference of Presbyterian Men’s Fellowship opens

Apowa (W/R) July 25, GNA- Reverend Dr. Albert Frank Anakwa, Acting Chairman of the Western Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, on Saturday asked Christians to actively participate in the development process of the country. He urged Christians who are adamant about the country’s development agenda to change their attitude. Rev. Anakwa made the request when he opened the 22nd Annual Delegates’ Conference of the Western Presbytery Men’s Fellowship of the Church on the theme: “Put on the whole amour of God,” at Apowa near Takoradi.

He said Christians should put on the “Amour of God” to speak the truth and promote development. Rev. Anakwa said Christians who put on the amour of God in their service to the country would be able to defeat the devil and gain God’s protection and guidance. Mr Nathan Ofosu-Boateng, Presbytery President of the Fellowship, said discipline and commitment are required from members in order to fulfil the theme of the conference. He said this means that they must utilize their time, talents and treasures for the growth of the country, the fellowship and the Church as a whole. 25 July 09
