Thirteen people are feared dead in a fatal accident at Dominase near Anwhia Nkwanta in the Ashanti Region.
According to XYZ News’ Ashanti regional correspondent, Isaac Bediako Justice, a Sprinter Bus travelling from Takoradi to Kumasi was run over by an articulated truck traveling from Kumasi to an unknown destination.
He reported that the articulated truck with registration number WR 1662-09 burst its tires and lost control, running into the oncoming Sprinter Bus with registration number AW 1420-13.
A Police Officer at the scene told XYZ News that 13 people have so far been counted among the dead while several others who sustained injuries are currently receiving treatment at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
The dead bodies have since been deposited at the hospital for identification.
The Police are, however, yet confirm the number at deaths.
