Zuarungu Home Club Launched

Zuarungu (U/E), May 08, GNA – A newly-formed club known as “Nor’yene N’de Teng’maalgo” or “Unity Brings about Development” aimed at promoting development in Zuarungu community near Bolgatanga was launched in Zuarungu at the weekend.

In an address read on his behalf, the Upper East Regional Minister, Mr Boniface Gambila, lauded the formation of the club and said the government alone could not address the developmental needs of the people.

He called on members to ensure that peace and unity prevailed in the area and urged them to embrace the National Health Insurance Scheme. The chairman of the club, Mr Abubakari Mahamoud, said since the formation of the club it had promoted unity and carved a good image for Zuarungu.
