Zero tolerance for corruption is dead -Tony Aidoo

Dr. Tony Aidoo, former deputy minister of Defence, has described leaders of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as a group of deceptive and arrogant politicians.?

He said they have ?sustained their governance with spins, propaganda and outright lies. Dr. Aidoo said the NPP does not believe in compromise. ?Every time they come to power, they change everything. They are the people who changed even the words of the national anthem,? he said.

Dr. Aidoo alleged that the NPP came to power without any workable micro economic politics and it is therefore not surprising that it has not been able to fulfill its election promises. ?The NPP is living with its own conscience and the people of Ghana are the better judges of its performance, he said.

Dr. Aidoo accused the NPP of serving narrow partisan interest. On the issue of corruption, he said the policy of ?zero tolerance for corruption is dead.? How can you be pursuing policy of zero tolerance for corruption when the president says that corruption is historical and ubiquitous? He argued.
