Yusha Kuta to be installed Imam of Chamba communities

Accra, May 23, GNA – Yusha Tahiru Kuta, a scholar in Islam, will on May 28 be installed Chief of the Chamba communities in Greater Accra, according to a statement issued in Accra on Monday. Sheikh Kuta was born on October 25, 1944 and brought up at Nima in Accra, the statement said. His parents are Imam Tahiru Umar Kuta and Aisha Hussein and he is the third born of 12 surviving children of his parents. The statement said he was expected to build and maintain a peaceful and better human relations among followers and other communities and ethnic groups. “(He will) organize and give direction to his people and the communities at large to encourage development both religiously and socially and foster unity amongst his followers and the Muslim community at large,” it said.
